Hi All,
Now that my "15 to 1" project is well under way

and a few other long term projects have been put to bed - I've got some spare time for something else that might be fun - once again fun for all!
What I have in mind is to gather a collection of "interpretations" of your favorite master paintings - be it "The Mona Lisa", "Girl With A Pearl Earring" or whatever...
..they can be in any medium, any style and any size, whatever you're comfortable with.
Now, I'm going to be looking for around 60 artists to take part so I might have to take this project elsewhere as well as here (if you spread the word then I won't have to).
At the end I want to put high-res photographs of the works together in a coffee table sized book (12" x 12" or 30cm x 30cm) so you'll have to sign a short release form for the painting and return it to me along with a few words as to why you were so inspired to paint, draw, pastel what you did...
..now what am I going to do with the book?
That's a little tricky to explain here - but if you would care to ask me privately I'll be more than happy to explain - needless to say I won't be profiteering from your work...
..hope you like the idea and if we get the kind of support that "15 to 1..." has got it'll become a great project and a very entertaining thread!

..design, design and more design - I wish the world was as mad for my paintings as it s for my design work!
At last! I have a chance to start a new painting - I had to hide form the phone and the e-mails this morning to get it started...
..but we're away!
